One of the most important aspects of Connections Outreach is offering the Gospel to people in hope that they will enter into a personal relationship with Jesus.
A vital part of our Christian faith is fellowship. It is our desire that as we fellowship together, we will have unity with the Holy Spirit; to strengthen our faith and relationships.
We love because he first loved us. And we give to those in need of assistance because we care for others, just as God cared for us by giving us His Son.
Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?
When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
It is our "mission" at Connections to reach people both inside our local community and those located around the world. We do this through mission teams who travel to serve with other with missionaries to help bring the love and kindness of Jesus.
This year it is our desire to make multiple international trips to Honduras where we will serve with Cultivate Life (CL). As you may know, Joey and Kellie Weed are the CL founders and administrators, whose home church is Connections. The Weed family, along with other Hondurans and missionaries are all eagerly awaiting our return, and are thrilled to be re-joined this year. We also desire to take at least one domestic mission trip, and are enthusiastic for which opportunities God will reveal.
